Talking about myself
I set up Centrestage PR to manage media relations activities for clients from a wide
range of sectors including business, consumer and the performing arts. Clients
include aviation, property, interior design, complementary health, entertainment,
retail and luxury markets. Personal PR clients work in the worlds of theatre, film,
music and sports.
Previously I worked at a number of PR agencies on lifestyle accounts such as Little
Penguin and Early Harvest wines, Fairgift Fairtrade Gifts, Festival Place Shopping
Centre and Bombardier Skyjet International.
I started my PR career as a publicist working on several shows and charity events for a well known West End production company
and as unit publicist on a British film of the Charles Dickens novel, The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
I then moved in-house, undertaking PR for the Ambassadors Entertainment Group, where I managed the launch of the six-screen
multiplex, various dance festivals and touring productions; before moving to the Barbican Centre, London, where I promoted three
seasons of the international theatre event, BITE.
On a personal note I am inspired by and have a love for words, people and creativity and many weekday evenings can be found
somewhere in the UK sampling some new performance, arts event or jazz concert.
